We once walked upon the earth with nothing to fear but our predators. We carried nothing upon our backs except the very hairs that created our hides. That all changed when Man thought to use us as slaves. Many of us perished beneath the weight of Man's work, but many of us fought back. Those that escaped Man's grasp lingered in groups behind the safety of our natural barriers. The Rockies. With time we learned to live off the land and rocks. Our bodies developed to ensure our footing, our stomachs under went changes to live off the little food we were given.
The equine goddess Equinus again feared for our well being when the Man began to spread. She created an invisible barrier, within in a safe haven. We would never again feel the straps of Man's wrath. We were again free.
Just as soon a Equinus has arrived she dissapeared, and our new home remained timeless. Never would it let us down.
Lupine
In 1450 A.C. we were again threatened. This time it was by the wolf. For some reason our Goddess Equinus felt that we could live together in harmony. She released plentiful prey so we were not to be fed on. With the wolves came the laws that we are forever bound to.
Change
Now there is a new fear. This fear is of unescassary bloodshed, this fear is of the battle for power. Evil has bred and now lurks among us. For the first time we are split into groups. There are the Lights, who possess large hearts. The Neutrals who cannot choose their battles. then there are the Darks who kill for power.
We fight amongst ourselves. Who will live and who will die? Will we all perish, return to non-existence? Or will Equinus return to aid us, or does she have a new plan. Is this plan to sort this out ourselves?
