, general description No matter where she goes, Cadence is one of those girls who stands out. As a child, she always heard she is going to end up on magazines, in the public. She had the face of an angel. She stood out from the rest of her family, no one sure where she got her good looks from.
Going head to toe, her hair is first. Keeping the bang look in, the rest of her copper colored locks fall to the middle of her back. Straight, curled, pulled back, with an accessory... it always looked good. It has a few random blonde streaks, all natural of course. It looks very fresh and stands out from the brunette masses.
Next her eyes, big and brown. They could go from warm to cold in two seconds flat. Cadence spoke with her eyes, letting those convey her thoughts and feelings. Between her eyes, her nose is found. Small, petite, it isn't sharp and fits perfectly on the middle of her face, above her lips. Her small lips finish off her face, a face that causes heads to turn.
Her body is next, small and slender. Never hoping to be very tall, she stands around five foot. Cadence hasn't filled out, remaining a delicate girl as of now. Her slender body is pale, always needing sunscreen. At first glance she seems very fragile and soft.[/ul]

FIRST IMPRESSION. First meeting Cadence can be a little bit of a problem. She doesn't say anything to anyone, ever. Even if someone says something to her, she will just stare at them until they try again and again. So used to being ignored, she doesn't respond well. That is also her way of weeding out those who want to stay and those who don't want to know her. Beauty on the outside, cold on the inside is the first impression she gives off.
DIG A LITTLE DEEPER. When she finally gets around to responding, things change. She seems mature, older than a mere fifteen. She will talk and be coy, smiling and laughing. Cadence can carry a conversation very well for someone her age. That comes with being in the beyond so long. She can mingle with the seventeen, eighteen year old people like she was one of them.
STICK AROUND FOR THE FINALE. Past the polite stage, the friendly side of Cadence is where her true self is. A lot of digging is required to see this far. She is silly and random, loud and full of laughter. She can also be angry and upset, crying and yelling. Her true feelings about people and the Beyond come out. She keeps everything truly silly and negative inside for those chosen few to see.[/ul]
`you are my sweetest downfall
, residence before death Unknown
, cause of death Unknown
, history Born on earth, not the Beyond like Cadence thinks, she was set up for disaster. With a rich family who was high society and very well known, they had to keep up appearances. They seemed perfect and happy to the world, nothing wrong. If only everyone could have been like the Johnson's...
What happened behind closed doors, stayed there. No one knew her father like Cadence. Since she was a little girl, he would sneak into her room and touch her in ways no girl should be. Her chest, under her panties, it even went as far as sex. She did nothing, said nothing to keep the family reputation up. Who would believe her anyhow? Her father was one of the most well liked and well respected men around.
Her mother didn't find out until she walked in on the act. A little known fact was that Cadence's mother took happy pills. The sight of her husband and her daughter threw her off the edge. She beat her husband to death, drown her daughter in the bathtub, and then hung herself. It was a very terrible sight to see and it was spread across papers like butter on bread.
None of this is known to Cadence, however. She remembers none of this. She just knows she hates men touching her, hating men in general actually. She was forgotten because for a long time, she didn't know how she'd gotten to the Beyond. She kept to herself, not seeking help. Finally she it out and about again, but she has become forgotten, her past still missing. The Beyond is all she knows and she happy with that. Knowing nothing and having a clean slate ahead of her.[/ul]

Her brows moved closer to her hair line in surprise. Laken couldn't believe it was a spur of the moment kind of thing. For being so instant, it was played very well. Her spur of the moment things all sounded similar or it took her a few days to work everything out to make it sound that good. "Wow," came from her lips, the same surprised tone in her voice. "That was really good for spur of the moment."
She moved closer to the piano slowly, not wanting to scare him. The thought of her treating him like an animal popped into her head. She instantly thought it silly of her to move toward him with so much caution. He was just a person, after all. Just a famous person who had his face plastered to every thirteen year old girl's wall. Laken was almost positive there were a few girls who brought his posters to camp with them this summer.
"Why not play more stuff like that for your CDs then?" she asked, giving a few seconds pause between her previous sentence. "I mean, that was really good. It didn't have too much in common with the stuff on your last record and that's not such a bad thing."
Laken thought over what she said in a second and realized what she might be implying. "Um, not that I think your last record was bad. I mean, I bought it." She was digging herself in a hole the more she talked. That was, unfortunately, one of her bad habits. She talked too much, too fast, and didn't think a whole lot when she got nervous.
"Sorry," she ended with. She bit on her bottom lip, another habit of hers, and pulled her eyebrows together and up to show she really was sorry. Laken was sorry for possibly insulting him, for talking too much, and just plain interrupting him. If she could, she would have kicked herself in the butt a few times by now.

Just to let you know, Maura made this template, not you. If you just happen to steal it, and be warned, that she will come to your house and devour your intestines.
