Chasing the Storm

War ravaged the earth for over sixty years, fire raining down on the innocent
and guilty alike. Those who remained were forced to rebuild but the world
would never be the same again. People were separated; forced to live in
segregation as those with powers rose as heroes and demons. Humanity
had no choice but to submit to their will, to be their slaves.

Romford was founded early into the battle, becoming a fortress to protect
and wage war. For years they defended their land but made no progress.
Left with few options, they took fate into their own hands. The Psionics
began to play God. Biologically engineered beings were created to fight
their war. The Tainted. Humans were slipping further down the food chain
and their rights were stripped away one by one. With no other options,
they banded together. They began to fight back for what was rightfully
theirs - equality.

Away from the city, there is another way of life. The Suwani people lived
with the earth and received their gifts from nature. Their Nésemóono,
guardian spirits, guided them on their path.As a people, they were at peace,
until the Psionics found them. Now, their way of life is at risk, exposure
threatening everything they have worked for.

In Romford, dragons and humans banded together for an assault on Psionic
tyranny, taking out the very labs that had been built to destroy them.
Hundreds of Tainted escaped, making new lives by hiding among their creators.
Not all are willing to hide though - some are out for revenge. The dragon/human
alliance was been shattered; a terrible misunderstanding tore them apart.
Now all bets are off. It is an ever changing world, one of pain and despair.
But there are those that have found happiness, if only they could hold onto it.

CtS is a site that has been around for over a year now with consistent
activity and a great welcoming group of people. We are geared towards older
teens and adults but we are always willing to give everyone a chance. Our site
is designed to help newcomers jump right in and we would hate for our member
count to scare anyone off! We are easy going and eager to help! If we sound
interesting, we encourage you to come and check us out, someone is almost always
in the c-box to lend a hand!
